A little about me…
I’ve been building websites since… 1997. Yep, that’s long enough ago to have witnessed dial-up, GeoCities, and the early days of HTML. So consider this a little trip down memory lane. My journey started out of necessity: I needed a website for my own business, and, well, that curiosity quickly turned into a creative habit.

My Journey
Designing websites didn’t start as a business for me — it was more of a creative itch I had to scratch. Over the years, I’ve worked with folks from all kinds of backgrounds, built sites for fun and for referral, and learned a whole lot about what actually helps people use the things we make – and how to make the things we make both functional and magical.
Here’s the twist: web design isn’t how I pay my bills. I run another successful business too, which means when I take on web projects, it’s because I genuinely enjoy the process and not because I’m racing a mortgage deadline. This gives you something rare: my full attention and thoughtful care for your project.
Why do I do this, then? Because creating websites is one of my favorite ways to be creative. I enjoy watching a concept transform from an idea into a site that works beautifully and serves a purpose. And yes—SEO is part of the fun, not a chore.

How I Work
Strong Bones
Structure matters. If it’s not solid underneath, nothing on top really works.
Clarity Over Cleverness
Useful beats flashy. Every time.
Built to Last
I care about how your site holds up six months (or six years) from now.
Human-Friendly
For the people using it and the people maintaining it.
Just Enough Sparkle
Professional doesn’t have to mean joyless.
**This applies to websites, processes, and conversations.
Working Together
Thoughtful, collaborative, and refreshingly low-stress.
Working together usually starts with a conversation, not a contract or a checklist. We talk about what’s working, what’s not, and what you actually need (which is sometimes less than you think).
From there, I’ll recommend an approach that fits your goals, your comfort level, and your future plans. Whether that’s a full WordPress build, a redesign, SEO cleanup, or simply a second set of eyes to help you untangle things.
I work best with people who:
- Value clarity over flash
- Want something built to last
- Appreciate honest answers (even when the answer is “you don’t need that”)
If that sounds like you, we’ll probably get along just fine.
